Personal Data Use

Your personal information is accessed only by our members of staff and is used to process orders placed through the website and to correspond with you, such as responding to an enquiry.

The personal data that we collect about you is name, address, data call history, email address and email content. On occasion you might share with us your medical condition to ascertain if the products we sell are suitable to your needs. Sometimes a customer might order one of our products as a gift for a friend or family member in this instance we will also collect the name and address of the receiver of the product.

We only keep your data for 30 days

SECURITY MEASURES

All of our devices are password protected and access is role based.  Our website has 2FA and only authorised personnel has access to the site for maintenance and improvements activities. We also have antivirus in place.  Stripe, PayPal and Go Cardless have 1FA in place.

YOUR RIGHTS

  • a right of access to your data

  • a right to rectify any personal data held by Tuft

  • a right to erase any personal data that Tuft no longer has a legitimate purpose to process

  • a right of access to a machine-readable version of your data, as long as you have provided it or Tuft has observed it via your use of a service. This is legally only applicable to data provided with your consent or under a contract, but we will endeavour to give you a portable version of any of your data should time and technology allow it.

  • a right to stop Tuft from processing any of your data that it does not have a legal or contractual obligation to process

  • a right to prevent any wholly automated decisions involving your data – but rest assured, Tuft does not use wholly automated decision-making techniques
